This just in! Tommy Lee Jones has been cast in the new installment of the Bourne franchise. According to Variety, the storyline is completely unknown at this time, but Tommy Lee Jones, Alicia Vikander and Julia Stiles will be joining Matt Damon in the installment. Also, Paul Greengrass will be back to direct the new movie.
Frank Marshall will produce again alongside Jeffrey Weiner for Captivate Entertainment. Greengrass, Damon, Greg Goodman and Ben Smith will also produce, while Rouse and Henry Morrison will serve as executive producers.
Although the plot is unknown, rumors currently circulating suggest Jones will be playing a superior officer at the CIA. Edward Norton, Chris Cooper, Brian Cox and David Strathairn have playing similar roles in past Bourne movies.
Production is expected to begin later this summer and the film will release on July 29, 2016.
