BACKSTORY
Lancer has an incredible gift of making people confess to their sins. This is a gift that he's had since a child. He grew up in the Catholic Church and went to a strict Catholic School. The nuns and priests were always unnerved by him because he'd often whisper things about the sinful things he knew they'd done.
His father liked to beat his Mom, and Lancer turned him into the police at age 10 and testified against him. He served five years in prison and never returned home.
Lancer went to law school at Harvard, on an academic scholarship. He was the Eminent Supreme Warden of The Skull & Crossbones at Harvard & made sure everyone kept in line with honor and tradition.
As a lawyer, he's taken on two infamous cases:
1. He represented seventy six sexual assault victims in a lawsuit against the Catholic Church that lead to the conviction on the Archbishop of New York, who is serving life in prison, and cost the Catholic Church an estimated $1.2 Billion in reparations. He's both loathed and revered in the Catholic Church, but mostly hated.
2. He convicted a serial killer named Darnell Wilkins, who'd dismembered and partially eaten twelve females ages 11 to 92. Lancer got him to confess to each murder and describe the locations of each body in front of a live court room.
