 The awesome peeps at The Tracking Board report that Warner Bros. is developing a Booster Gold/Blue Beetle movie with Greg Berlanti on tap to direct and executive produce. It's being billed as a superhero buddy cop movie, which has me more excited about this one than a lot of superhero movies on tap! I've always really dug Booster Gold as a character and would love to see some comedic shenanigans with him and Ted Kord on screen. TV has has some great portrayals of Booster, including the Justice League Unlimited series. That series is my favorite animated series ever and the episode with Booster, "The Greatest Story Never Told," is amazing! The interaction between him and Skeets (his awesome robot buddy) in that episode is hilarious! Check it out if you haven't! Smallville did a great job portraying him as well. So it will be cool to see him get the big screen treatment. I'm excited about this! Greg Berlanti has been on fire lately and is the perfect choice to direct. What do you guys think? Oscar winner Benicio Del Toro seemed to confirm that he has been cast in Star Wars Ep VIII and is slated to begin shooting in March. Not much is known about his character, although the actor hinted that he isn't necessarily playing a good guy. A hint which lit the web on fire with speculation over what he meant by "like a villain". Come on, Benicio! Ignore that NDA and tell us more! Kidding. Don't do that. We don't want someone to go full dark side on you and get you fired. What do you think, SGU fam? Think that Del Toro can pull off another sci-fi role?
Check out the Season 4 Arrow footage that was just shown at Dragon*Con! So Arrow and The Flash are my favorite shows on TV and of course I'm super-excited to see Season 4 footage. I love that Neal McDonough will be playing Damian Dark in the new Season. I've always liked him as an actor. And the fact that the enemies are apparently tougher and giving the heroes a run for their money is excellent too. Not digging Diggle's new costume so much. And Felicity shooting a sub-machine gun is just ridiculous. But overall, I'm excited! What do you guys think? Check out the trailer below and let us know in the Comments! |
