Batman #50 comes out this week. In it we see the end of the “Superheavy” storyline and the return of Bruce Wayne to the mantle of the Bat. All of this gearing up for DC’s “Don’t call it a reboot,” Rebirth. Most of the major storylines in the DC comics are coming to an end at issue 50. Next is Teen Titans #18. I have been a Titans fan since the mid-eighties. It is the comic that started me collecting. The Titans have been through some creative rough patches, but I think writer Greg Pak and penciller Ian Churchill have got them going in the right direction. Also we have Wonder Woman as a guest star. On the Marvel side we have Star Wars #17. Jason Aaron has been doing a great job on this comic. It takes me back to when I was a kid and seeing the movies for the first time. The storyline takes place between Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back. We also have another Comic by Greg Pak in this week. The Totally Awesome Hulk #4. I was not sure how I would like this series with Amadeus Cho taking over for Bruce Banner as The Hulk, but it has been a fun ride so far. Issue #4 does not let up on the action or fun.
Well that should get you started for the week. Let me know what you guys are reading. Until next time this is Brett DaSilva signing off. Follow me on Twitter here @geek_happenings

So any geek worth their salt knows that season two of Marvel's Daredevil season came out on Netflix on Friday. I have watched the first two episodes, and can say that everything from season one has been ratcheted up exponentially for season two. With the arrival of The Punisher the body count gets high very quickly in the first two episodes. Jon Bernthal is the perfect casting for The Punisher and gives the role the weight it deserves. The fight scenes are just as well choreographed this season as in season one, and no less brutal. The season starts off with gangs of New York trying to fill the void that The Kingpin left when he was taken down by Daredevil in season one. Without giving away spoilers, things are not going well for the gangs. I am looking forward to seeing the arrival of Elektra, and maybe some Easter eggs from Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. All in all, this season is off to a great start. I look forward to your comments.

So unless you have been living under a rock the last couple of days, by now you have seen the new trailer for Captain America: Civil War. Not only so we get more hero on hero action we get the first view of Spider-Man, and it was amazing! Unfortunately it does not seem that everyone seems to feel the same way. From comments that he is too young, the suit is not right, to he is not Tobey Maguire. To all of this I just have one thing to say. RELAX. He was only on screen for all of 2 seconds. I for one am looking forward to seeing this on May 6th. I look forward to reading your comments.
