As much as I like Jason Momoa, I really don't see how the producers and directors are going with casting him as Aquaman. I mean, when I picture Aquaman.....I picture this average guy with a slightly muscular build and blond hair & has the power to summon & talk to the creatures of the sea.....much like the Aquaman that I grew up watching on SuperFriends during the 80's. I've never seen Aquaman any other way.

I agree Anthony that Jason Momoa was great in Stargate: Atlantis! I loved that show! I think he's a really good choice for Aquaman. They're obviously going with the more badass version of Aquaman that the amazing Justice League animated series used and various comic versions used. Maybe DC is doing this so that they can stop all the bad slack that AquaMan seems to get in the comic book world?
