So unless you have been living under a rock the last couple of days, by now you have seen the new trailer for Captain America: Civil War. Not only so we get more hero on hero action we get the first view of Spider-Man, and it was amazing! Unfortunately it does not seem that everyone seems to feel the same way. From comments that he is too young, the suit is not right, to he is not Tobey Maguire. To all of this I just have one thing to say. RELAX. He was only on screen for all of 2 seconds. I for one am looking forward to seeing this on May 6th. I look forward to reading your comments.

This trailer was epic! I really dug the first Civil War trailer but this one did such a better job of filling in a bunch of context about what's going on. Such great conflict, drama, and tension! This should easily be the best Captain America movie. I did enjoy seeing the Spidey cameo in the end. I'll be honest my first reaction to the suit was I didn't love it but I'm always about waiting to watch the whole movie and then make a more informed decision so I'm with you there Brett! I'm even more excited to see this movie now after watching the trailer so can't wait!

This whole Spider-Man thing better work out, the idea of companies sharing rights seems problamatic at best, and this movie is already full of so much, I hope it doesn't bend so much to accommodate him that it breaks.

I'm with you man! I also really hope it works out but from seeing the trailer, so far so good! 3/14/2016 04:42:00 pm
For me, the show I had been most looking forward to was Batman vs Superman. With the 1st Captain America: Civil War trailer, it was a REAL close second. The new trailer makes a compelling argument for the MUST SEE movie of the year. Love the new things we saw in this trailer: more Blank Panther, Ant-Man riding an arrow, and of course, the Spidey reveal. I have to say, I really don't find anything wrong with the costume. I would only be upset if it had no relevance to either the story or the character. I saw the costume as something different enough to separate it from its predecessors, but still tie it close to the original. I also can't help but wondering if its not a bluff, and we will in fact see a different costume once it is released, be it more classical or perhaps the Iron Spider costume. There is a fan made trailer where they have replaced spidey's costume in the trailer with the Iron Spider one, but I haven't had a chance to check it out yet.

Hey Eros! Yeah I'm 100% with you that Batman v Superman has been my most anticipated movie of 2016 and it still is, but you're right this trailer really amped up my anticipation for Civil War so it's not too far behind Batman v Superman anymore. Thanks for the tip about the Iron Spider costume trailer! Will have to check that out! And yes I also dig a high school Peter Parker so am all about that!

I am the opposite. None of the DC movies have thrilled me. I think they have gone away from the characters of Superman and Batman to make them all dark. Not caring about collateral damage. See Man of Steel. Marvel movies have been all about saving the by-standers while battling the bad guy. I

I agree Brett that the second half of Man of Steel I didn't like, mainly because it just became two super-powered beings destroying a city and that's not interesting and yes there was a ton of collateral damage. But what I do think is clever is they're using that as a reason for Batman to want to take Superman down. At least from all the trailers, the sense I'm getting is Bruce Wayne was in Metropolis and saw the destruction and harm Superman's battle with Zod caused and that's a big reason he feels he needs to stop him. So I can believe that motivation. I'm very hopeful Batman v Superman will kick ass and be much better than Man of Steel.

I don't even need a trailer, as far as I'm concerned Captain America always gets the coolest movies in this franchise.

I actually haven't been as big on the Captain America movies as a lot of other people, though I did like Winter Solider a lot more than the first Captain America movie. I do think this one will blow the other ones out of the water so am really looking forward to it! Thanks so much for commenting Skorpio! Always love hearing your thoughts man!
