Twentieth Century Fox released some new promo photos of the new Fantastic Four team! The new Fantastic Four offers a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team. The story centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy. Fantastic Four features a screenplay by Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Days of Future Past) and is set to hit the big screen August 7. My only concern with what I have seen from the trailers, is it seems so broody and dark, which I don't think is right for the FF. If there was one team that embodies the spirit of hope best, I would say it was Marvel's first family, and that's not the vibe I get from this installment. I never had problems with the first 2, but there were definitely places where they could have made improvements. This new one looks the same, but feels more gloomy and gritty. Leave a Reply. |
