The official Han Solo origin story is coming to us in movie form, folks!  That's right - our favourite smuggler is getting his own stand alone film! Set to release in May of 2018, the film will explore Solo's younger years and just how he came to be at a certain cantina on a planet far, far away. And to say that the internet is a little excited is an understatement.  Bets are being placed on who will be tapped to play the younger version of Solo, with guesses ranging from Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul to Jurassic World's Chris Pratt. Who do you think should play Han? Let us know in the comments below!

Based on recent genre history, I think the only two choices allowed by law are Chris Pratt and Chris Pine...

So basically, must be a Chris! I'd be very interested to see what Aaron Paul would do with the role. Love his work generally!

I just recently saw Jurassic World, and I think if you mash Chris Pratt's character there with a smidgen of Star Lord, you would have a perfect Han. That being said, I'm a bit worried about story potential. I have read the Han Solo trilogy, which would make excellent source material for a script, but it seems that the movies try to distance themselves from the books as much as possible. Reserving judgment on this one.
