I would have to say, that my absolute Faveourite comic storyline would be, between Archie and Ninja Turtles! Even though Archie wasn't a super hero! Hahaha

Haha nice Bethannie! So now I'm curious. How did Archie help the Turtles? Did they go to Riverdale? Did Jughead eat lots of pizza with them :)

Thanks so much for sharing Aaron! I've really enjoyed what I've read of Sex Criminals too and keep hearing amazing things about Saga and Locke and Key so I'll have to check those out!

Detective Comics 481. I remember reading it when I was a kid, and FREAKING OUT when I found it again as an adult, while working at my local comic book store. There are 4 different stories in the book, and my favorite revolves around (Big surprise!) Robin. It appears the Teen Wonder has a fan club, called the Robin Rooters, and they created three new costumes for him, and he has to choose his favorite. During the meeting, Robin starts fighting a villain called 'The Raven' (Not Raven from the Teen Titans, but this is a dude in a flying black costume), and Dick keeps changing costumes through the battles, before deciding to stick with his classic red, yellow and green. I remember it so well, because it was the first time I ever seen ANY super hero in a different costume than I originally seen them in. Luck had it, it just happened to be my favorite super hero. Awesome book. :D

Batman:Hush & A Death in the Family, Peter David's "Mr. Fixit" run on the Hulk, Kingdom Come, Spider-Man: Kraven's Last Hunt, Shadowhawk: The Secret Revealed, Flash:Rebirth, And Gaiman's Sandman and Death stories. I also dig Brian K Vaughn's Pride of Baghdad and think it doesnt get enough credit.

Hold on there, gotta temper that excitement a bit! Free Comic Book Day is actually coming up on Saturday, May 4th, 2024. Mark your calendars! That's the day to hit the local comic shops and snag some free reads. In the meantime, maybe we can brainstorm some titles you'd be interested in?
