How in the world does SuperGirl shave her legs? Does she have to do it the same way that SuperMan has to shave his face? I've always wondered that since I 1st saw her as a teen!

They actually played with that in Smallville. In one episode, Clark is trying to cut his hair and he winds up breaking the scissors :)

So, I want to like this, but I don't know if I can. This initial trailer makes me think too much of Ugly Betty than Supergirl. Part of this may be because my primary knowledge of Supergirl is the one from Superman/Batman written by Jeph Loeb, she was angsty and to be honest, angry a lot of the time eventually evolving eventually into a red lantern once New 52 picked up steam. So, for me, this seems like it is going to be too light. I'm also concerned with how often the trailer hints at Superman. Is this going to be a running thing or something they just allude to occasionally? it seems like it would get old quick. It seems to me like the equivalent of doing Kid Flash as Bart Allen, but never introducing Barry or Wally. I just, I don't know. DC seems to need a plan or at least some dividing line that says TV is one Thing and film is another, instead of having shows on what, 4 networks now. Fox, CW, ABC, TNT. Is it now impossible for these characters to appear together. Can R'as never appear on Gotham, Deathstroke never on Titans. The latter is the bigger concern for me since it breaks one of their most Iconic stories. I don't know, the way they are doing this is kind of disheartening. Even DC animation seems to be dying a slow death with all these Graphic Novel adaptations. I long for the days of the Timmverse.

Hey Alex! First off, the Jeph Loeb/Michael Turner Supergirl from Superman/Batman is the one I know well too! And Jeph Loeb is one of my all time favorite comics writers! I also agree they need to be careful with the Superman references. He's mentioned enough in the promo that it came across a little weird that they're cousins but apparently never talk and need Jimmy Olsen to relay messages to each other. They may have a great explanation for they're lack of contact so we'll have to wait and see. But I almost wish they made it soley about Kara and didn't mention Supes at all, or not until much later seasons like how Smallville introduced Kara later in its run.
