This is the best super hero news since the announcement of the Days Of Future Past cast! I'm so excited about this!! I don't see Spidy showing up for a couple movies, (No Avengers 2) but I see him having a big part in Infinity Gauntlet, and MAYBE/HOPEFULLY the post credit scene of Capt. America 3: Civil War. You know what? I don't care WHERE they put him, hell put him in EVERYTHING and I'll be one happy geek. And honestly, the only thing that would make me happier would be if Marvel-Disney and Fox could make nice so we could have the X-Men come out and play as well!! Can you imagine a AVX (Avengers Vs. X-Men) movie?!?!? Super happy, super excited, super jazzed!!

But not necessarily that actual storyline right? I think House of M would be more fertile ground. 2/11/2015 04:11:47 am
I just want them to stop trying to redo Spidey's origin story again and again.

You bring up a really good point. I personally really enjoyed Tobey Maguire in Spider-Man and felt that the reboot with Andrew Garfield seemed so out of place... I was like... didn't they just have a Spider-Man series, why do we need another one so soon? I kind of wished they had just spent there money on some other cool content. Mainly because I know there are so many amazing stories out there just waiting to be told! :-)

See, I liked Garfield, he actually sounded like New York to me. And we knew they made those movies solely to keep the rights. and whoever made the "moment" with Gwen in the second movie, is a brave soul. 2/11/2015 12:04:34 pm
Sooo, this will be too long if I really get going. I'm excited but uneasy regarding the necessary changes to something that seems very well oiled at this point. Translation, I trust Marvel, but not Sony, and I don't trust inserts to things that are already written. I do not want an origin story again, EVER... unless it is Miles, and even then only because it would be necessary for people who don't know him.

Also I feel bad for Garfield, he just kind of got dumped, through no fault of his own.

Also feel bad for Garfield! But I pretty much love all of the Whedon-helmed Marvel movies so I'm in love with any choices that keep them going!
