Although I love Super Geeked Up and the hosts, the audience, the guests - I myself am not really a geek. However, this trailer reminded me that I was a Star Wars geek, once upon a time.

OMG no one can say a bad thing about JJ Abrams again to me,I feel like I'm 8yrs old again everytime I watch it. The Star Destroyer laying crashed looks like for decades and the ending..."Chewie we're home..." #geekwood ok im off to watch it again!

Wow. I agree with Charles. It reminds me of when I was a kid staring wide-eyed at the world of Star Wars. It brings back my childhood and the happy memories of being a Star Wars nerd. I enjoyed it!

This is the trailer I am most excited about. The original Star Wars movie was the first movie I can remember seeing at the theater. It started me on the geek path. The end of course with Han and Chewie made me all misty eyed. Can't wait for this.

This trailer stirred up many wonderful memories of when I saw the first Star Wars trilogy in theaters as a boy. I'm very excited for this!

How many trailers have you watched, and then watched again immediately after... 3 times. Nuff said. In fact, I'm going to go watch it again right now.

When I first saw the trailer I had to press "play" again just to make sure I'd seen what I'd just seen! I was so excited I got the chills like my mind couldn't comprehend the amount of AWESOME it was seeing! The Chewie moment was like seeing old friends and it almost made me cry, Looks like JJ has done an incredible job! :D

Woohoo!!! You guys all said it so well! I'm so freakin' excited for this movie! Star Wars is my all time favorite thing like ever! I've watched this trailer a bunch of times already. Abrams looks like he's capturing everything we love about Star Wars and introducing cool new stuff too. My absolute favorite part was hearing Luke's lines from Return of the Jedi. That gave me chills!! And of course the last shot with Han and Chewie! So so so freakin' excited!!!

I was blown away although I'm remembering how the prequels left an unsatisfactory taste in my mouth this has possibly given my my appetite back for more movies

I started watching this trailer with a little trepidation. I remembered how excited I was at the beginning of the trailer for Episode I, and I think we all remember how that turned out. And the first teaser for Episode 7 was slightly underwhelming and caused some anxiety, and flashbacks to Episode I once again. But 2 seconds into this trailer, I was seven years old again (Cause that's how old I was when A New Hope came out originally). I was actually sitting here in my chair bouncing like a kid, hopped up on too much theatre candy! Every bit of it transported me back to the magic of the first Star Wars movie. It was different but VERY familiar. With shots of X-Wings, droids, and practical effects. And what geek worth his salt didn't catch his breath when he heard the words; "Chewie, we're home." I look at it this way...if the movie does suck, and I have every bit of faith in JJ that it WON'T, but if it does, I still have that moment of watching that trailer, and being taken back to a very special point in my life.
