I don't know about this one, guys. I started reading comics when I found my dad's old Batman collection when I was a kid. So I like Batman. Wasn't his voice deep enough already? I know for a fact Ben Affleck's voice doesn't sound like that.

Can we stop milking this super hero thing now and have some ideas that are original? While I'm happy that the quality of Superhero films is increasing (no more old FF, Spiderman) can we please do something else now?

This trailer didn't really do it for me but I am going to see the movie cause I like that they're addressing what happened at the end of "Man of Steel" and they're using some stuff from Frank Miller's "Dark Knight Returns" comic which is a classic but yeah trailer was just ok to me.

Not really a fan of this one. I just don't understand the reason for making this a film other than to feed off the hype of superhero films. I'm a fan of Batman. I just don't like this version of him. Maybe I'm out of the loop, but why does he have glowing green eyes?

I enjoyed 'Man Of Steel,' and still think it's a great Superman movie. Carville is a fine Kal-El. Still, I'm not sold on the premise of this film, or sold on Ben Affleck as Batman. We'll see.

You know, I'll see it. But this trailer neither aids or hinders that fact. I don't have high expectations for this film. It doesn't help that I didn't like Man of Steel that much.

The trailer is decent but I'm kind of pissed. I mean why is Superman the bad guy in his own sequel? Wasn't this announced as "Man of Steel 2"?

Hey Sasha! I don't think Superman is necessarily the bad guy. I think it may be more a commentary on how society fears outsiders, people who are different, and what they don't understand. As an alien, Kal-el is the ultimate outsider and people fear what he's capable of. That's something Lex Luthor constantly tries to play up: how people should be afraid of what Superman is capable of. And something perhaps they'll address in the movie. So it may be more of Batman thinking Superman could pose a threat so he needs to take him out. Depending on how much they use Frank Miller's Dark Knight stories. Either way, I'm betting by the end of the movie Batman and Superman will be on the same side!

Thanks for all the comments guys! So while I had issues with Man of Steel too and think Zack Snyder has consistently shown he's a great visual filmmaker but not a great storyteller, I still have high hopes for this movie. I really dug this trailer and Affleck is looking great as Batman (I've been behind him as Batman from the first announcement). The Batman voice sounds awesome! It's deep and scary but not incomprehensible :) I'm really looking forward to this movie! Just wish we didn't have to wait until next year.

Not impressed by this one - I know it's a ways off but thought we'd get more than what was shown at comic con

Prior to this trailer, I was a bit apprehensive about this. Since seeing it, I am breathing easier. I love the imagery of the Supes statue with "false god" on it. And Bats line of " Do you bleed" does have me hooked. Im glad for all the superhero movies and hope they keep pushing each other to raise the standard so I can see more of my favorite storylines brought to life.

I'm usually in the minority with Man Of Steel. I actually really liked it. And I was on the No Affleck As Batman bandwagon. Well I still like Man Of Steel, and I feel a lot better about Ben as the Dark Knight. But I still feel a little uneasy about this movie. Zakk Snyder is my favorite visual director. He has yet to let me down in that aspect. But some of his casting choices scare me. (I know it doesn't have anything to do with this trailer, but it's always in the back of my mind.) Visually, the trailer is BEAUTIFUL. Everything I expect from Zakk. I think it sets a good tone...granted a tone we're going to have to wait over a year for, but my interest is peaked, and I'm intrigued. And I guess that's what a teaser is suppose to do. So I guess it did it's job that way. I liked the Superman stuff in the trailer. I LOVED the Batman stuff in the trailer. Especially the Dark Knight Returns scene at the end. I even liked Ben's computerized vocal distorter. Nice departure from Bale's Cookie Monster voice, and yet it still fits and works. It's a cool trailer, but even if it would have sucked like a Hoover, I'd still be seeing the movie. It did whet the appetite though.
