Marvel and Sony have announced that they have cast the latest incarnation of Spider-Man! Lucky Brit Tom Holland is next up to don Spidey's suit and go swinging from tall buildings. At just 19, he's definitely a younger take on the hero than what we're used to. What do you think, SGU family? Yes or no? Let us know in the comments!

First off, huge props for the coolest movie name ever! Second, what the heck is Dragon Blade? Well it's a crazy, amazing-looking historical epic battle movie starring Jackie Chan! What else do you really need to know? Okay, well apparently a corrupt Roman leader (Adrien Brody) wants to capture the Silk Road and it's up to Jackie Chan's character and his awesome warriors to stop him. Lucikly, they have help from a group of defected Roman solider led by John Cusack. Yup, you read that right: John Cusack.
I'll see any movie with Jackie Chan in it and the battle scenes look awesome! Brody looks particularly badass as the villain. John Cusack, um, looks like John Cusack in every modern movie he's been in. It's pretty ridiculous he's in this movie, but I still can't wait to see it! What do you guys think? Let us know in the Comments! - Jeff This may or may not be a first but Paramount has invited uber-fan (I'd say a Trekker, not a Trekkie - yes, there's a difference) Michael Gummelt to pitch a new Star Trek series to them. His Star Trek Uncharted series would introduce a whole new crew, technology, and Enterprise. He's even outlined his dream cast, with one of those cast members supporting his vision. You can take a look at his entire concept on his website. All we can say is break a leg, Michael! You're boldly going where few have gone before!
Hey gang! Jeff here. I just finished watching the first season of sense8, Neflix's new sci-fi series about eight people who share a telepathic link with one another, and loved it so much I needed to share how awesome and it is and why you should be watching!
1. It's Smart Character-Driven Science-Fiction We need original sci-fi concepts and this totally delivers. The story is weaved so intricately and wonderfully over the twelve episodes that you can't help but feel elated at the end. And this is a show all about the characters. Eight completely different characters who all find each other somehow connected. It's no easy task to weave together that many story arcs together but sense8 does it in such a way you care about every single one of them. So instead of watching the next movie reboot or the next police or courtroom drama clone, check out this original sci-fi series! 2. Creator Cred With The Wachowskis (The Matrix) and J. Michael Stracyznski (Babylon 5) at the helm, sense8 has amazing sci-fi cred in its creators. Anytime I see the Wachowskis name on something, I want to watch it. And while they haven't had a lot of commercial success of late, they're visionary creators and it's great to see then at the top of their game here teaming with Stracynski. 3. A Fantastic and Diverse Cast You probably haven't heard of any of the actors in sense8. But hopefully you'll make a not of them as the cast delivers across the board. The series is filled with amazingly believable and touching performances. It's also probably the most diverse series on TV or online right now. The characters come from all over the world and the show does a tremendous job of representing different races, cultures, and LGBQT characters. 4. You Won't Have to Watch Porn Okay so that may be a bit of an exaggeration, but sense8 isn't shy about showing very graphic, real sex scenes. What I do like is they're shot very tastefully and artistically and not for gratuitous reasons. So put that porn away and watch a series with an actual story instead! 5. It May Be the Best Show Out There Right Now It's rare to find a show that fires on all cylinders in its first season, but sense8 does just that. Even shows I totally love, there's usually some things I don't like about them. But I'm hard pressed to find anything like that in sense8. Some may say it's a bit of a slow-build in the beginning but I think you'll find that all pays off by the season finale. And that finale is so well done and will leave you with an amazing feeling. There are plenty of great series online and on TV right now, but this may be the best of them all. So please watch it, because we need to support original sci-fi like this. And I really, really want a Season 2! Have you guys seen sense8? Who are your favorite characters? Let us know what you think of the show and the characters by clicking on "Comments" below! Thanks for reading!
To say that the Minecraft Hololens demo at E3 is mind blowing is a bit of an understatement. Watch how you can take Minecraft from your Xbox One, to your table, and play in a 3D world. You can even play with other people. Just watch as the room goes wild as the demo shows off what this tech can do. All we can do is ask: when is the first holodeck coming out? That has to be the next step, right?
One of the games I'm most looking forward to is Rise of the Tomb Raider, the eagerly anticipated sequel to Crystal Dynamic's Tomb Raider reboot. Check out this amazing gameplay footage and trailer that just debuted at E3! What games are you most looking forward to seeing coverage of at this year's E3? Let us know in the Comments below! And you can stay up-to-date about all this week's E3 news by visiting super-cool sites like IGN and Game Informer! - Jeff
Tonya here! I just found out that The Last Unicorn is out on Blu-Ray! This movie was a HUGE part of my childhood. I think I made my mom rent it for me every time we were at the video store. It's not your typical kids movie fare and really isn't a Disney flick, so don't tune in hoping to find charming forest animals who sing and dance. Watching the trailer below reminded me how much this movie scared me. But I loved it, absolutely and completely. Anyone else like it when they were growing up?
