Nicole and Jeff have only been at SDCC for a day and they've already gotten some awesome photos! Here are a couple of fun facts: they were among the first in the world to take a photo with that racer from Star Wars and all the DC costumes are the originals from the movies and TV shows! Anyone else jealous yet?

Jeff got to explore San Diego the day before Comic-Con starts and discovered he now has the ability to communicate with seals! How else do you explain him getting this seal to pose so perfectly behind him? We can't think of any other explanation! What other super-powers can Jeff and Nicole develop while at Comic-Con this week? Keep checking back to find out and see tons of awesome pics and videos from their super-geeky adventures!
We've got more visuals into the Batman vs. Superman universe with new photos being released from set. My favourite is one of Gal Gadot and Ben Affleck out of their respective superhero costumes. Also, Lex Luther with hair? That's unexpected. Hopefully, there will be some answers (I know, wishful thinking) at the Batman vs. Superman panel at SDCC this week. What do you all think of the photos? - Tonya
Jane Austen fans, brace yourself. Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennett are hunting zombies. Or, at least, that's what we assume they'll do in the upcoming Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. We've been wondering for years what this film based off the novel, based off the classic, would look like and we've finally got photos. Check them out and tell us what you think!
How do you get an awesome new Star Trek series made? Obviously you send a million mini-muffins to CBS! That's what a group of fans are doing to help Michael Dorn bring his Worf character to lead a new Trek series! There's plenty more of the Worf character and the Klingon culture that Dorn wants to explore and who wouldn't want to see that! I certainly would! Worf is my favorite Star Trek character and I would be all over a new Worf Trek show so much it wouldn't be funny. This honestly sounds like one of the best ideas ever!! Which is why it will never happen. I really wish they would make a new Star Trek series like this, but I wouldn't get your hopes up. But I will still hold out a little bit of hope! Because that's what Star Trek is about: hope for the future!
What's also cool is that all the muffins are being donated to food pantries! So that's great! One suggestion to our favorite Klingon who wants to call it Star Trek: The Next Generation: The Worf Chronicles: just call it Star Trek: The Worf Chronicles. Worf has been in both TNG and DS9 so no need to use the TNG name again. Make it it's own awesome show! Or Make It So I should say :) Good luck to Dorn and the awesome fans trying to make this happen! I would love nothing more than to see you all succeed! Watch the video from The Cinema Source above and get more info at https://www.sweetesbakeshop.com/wewantworf And let us know in the Comments if you would dig seeing a new Trek show starring our favorite lovable Klingon. Jeff So just seeing the words "Starfleet" and "United Federation of Planets" is enough to get us excited for the next Star Trek film! The third installment in the rebooted series of Trek films will be called Star Trek Beyond and helmed by the furious Justin Lin. Well he's probably not that furious in real life but he did direct four of the Fast and Furious movies (numbers three through six).
From the title, it sounds like the Enterprise crew may get to venture farther out than in previous reboot installments. What would you like to see in the new Trek film and do you think Lin is a good choice to take over from J.J. Abrams? Let us know in the Comments below! And for more info head on over to the cool cats at Collider! According to Yahoo! News David Ayer, director of the upcoming 'Suicide Squad" movie, which is currently filming in Toronto and is due for release on 8/5/16, has a therapist on standby for the cast. David Ayer is known for realism and wants the movie to be very dark.
Adam Beach, who stars as Slipknot, says "So if your character is tormented, he wants you to torment yourself. He wants the real thing [...] We kind of have like a therapist on board if you fall off the wagon and really are villainous. There's a friend of [Ayer's] that's very unique in making sure we have our ground." Beach also stated that there are "thin lines" to the dark side and that the director may want the movie to be exceptional, but "he wants to make sure we finish a movie and don't disappear somewhere and then don't show up for work." Do you think David Ayer is taking things a bit too extreme? Do you agree with his methods? Which characters are you most looking forward to seeing on the big screen? Let us know in the comments below! Twentieth Century Fox released some new promo photos of the new Fantastic Four team! The new Fantastic Four offers a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team. The story centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.
Fantastic Four features a screenplay by Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Days of Future Past) and is set to hit the big screen August 7. That's right, Potter fans - our favourite wizard universe is coming back! J.K. Rowling tweeted the awesome news, saying the new story will open at the Palace Theatre next year. Titled "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child", the author promises a new and untold part of Harry Potter's history. Sadly, we don't have more details other than it isn't a prequel and that Rowling adapted the story for the stage. Regardless, who's game to grab the nearest portkey and go see the opening?
While they won't look quite as baby-faced as in this pic (wow they were really that young when they started The X-Files!), Mulder and Scully are back and Entertainment Weekly got some cool new info from being on set for next year's limited run six episode X-Files series. Creator Chris Carter promises a dark series with political allegory but also monster-of-the week episodes like the awesomely named "Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Man" Totally watching that one! Who are we kidding? We're watching the whole series and can't wait! Especially Tonya whose love for The X-Files is probably only second to her love for Joss Whedon!
The limited run X-Files series launches January 24, 2016 on FOX. Check out all the details from the Entertainment Weekly article and let us know what you think! Are you excited for the new X-Files? Tell us in the Comments below! |
